A Private Index
There are 26,000,000 companies in the US. Of these companies, 500,000 have annual revenues between $5M and $250M. These companies are the employment and economic growth engine of our Nation. The PCI tracks the health of this sector.
A Revenue Index
Indexes are typically stock price driven; which for a multitude of reasons don't work for private companies. We worked with the Dow Jones Index team and learned that monthly revenues could be an easier tool to track the performance of these companies.
Founded in 2006
We started the Private Company Index tracking the revenue of this sector back in 2006. Since then we have use what we have learned to help the financial community assimilate information about the relative vibrance and economic potential returns from this sector.
